OUR LEADERSHIP & STAFF IS HERE TO HELP YOU HEAL
MSN, BSN, RN
Barbara has been a nurse with a variety of specialties for over 45 years, but her most recent emphasis on medicinal cannabis has allowed her to teach medical professionals, patients and caregivers about the benefits of adding cannabis and cannabinoid products to their wellness regimen. Barbara's journey led her to become a Board Director for the American Cannabis Nurses Association and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Health Administration and Leadership with a focus on cannabis research and the dispensary experience. She is excited about her new role as Clinical Director of Salvera and looks forward to meeting you soon. And when you come in for your initial consultation, give her a big smile and she’ll probably give you a piece of candy (…because that’s what cool grandmothers do). But don’t tell her we told you.
Director of Patient & Community outreach
As a former ER and Critical Care Nurse, Jerry brings 20 years of experience seeing first-hand how patients cope with critical illness and chronic disease. He also saw how inadequate some of the current treatment options were for a variety of patients, and concurrently developed a passion and interest in medical cannabis therapy. Even more so, after watching a close friend successfully use it to cope with symptoms of PTSD. In his exciting role at Salvera, Jerry intends to bridge his love of teaching and community outreach with his passion for cannabis education. In addition, he's an active member of the Education and Research Committee of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. He plans to be out in the community, making friends and building partnerships, so if you see him walking by, give him a big hug (…he really likes that kind of stuff).
Trey has been in the cannabis industry since 2013, starting as a dispensary manager in Colorado Springs. This was quite a change for a Mississippi “boy”. The dispensary in Colorado Springs was originally in a small strip mall and floundering; Trey was able to build business that necessitated a move to a bigger site to serve their patients. Many people do not realize that in Colorado laws vary and cities serve different customers. Colorado Springs remains a medical market. After five years, Trey was recruited by Curaleaf. He and his family moved in 2017 and settled in Pikesville, MD. He became the dispensary manager at Curaleaf and it flourished! While it was a great success, Trey became excited about working with another new dispensary. Fortunately for us at Salvera he agreed to come on board. We have already seen a difference in our dispensary and are excited for more, Welcome Trey!!!!
