One of the things we’re most thankful for around Salvera is YOU! You may not realize it but you’re the reason we’re here, you’re the reason we opened this dispensary and it’s you that make coming to work so enjoyable. Sure, working in the cannabis industry is cool, what other job can you get that smells this good but once you get past that, it’s another job. There are orders to be made, invoices, outreach, policies and procedures that come with working anywhere. There are extra rules & regulations just because it’s medical cannabis and that’s what the MMCC says we have to do. Long days, commutes and all the stress that comes with starting a new business tends to add up … but the patients, you guys, make all the difference.
I’ve worked my whole career in healthcare and I can honestly say this is the most rewarding job I’ve had. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the patients we see, watching the concern and anxiety drain away after we’ve answered some of their questions, that’s what it’s all about. I spoke with a caregiver the other day who was so appreciative and thankful that we took an extra 5 minutes to listen to his concerns and help him sift through the myriad of choices that come with modern medical cannabis. What he may not fully understand is that it was literally our pleasure. Knowing we’ve helped someone is our reward. There are a lot of moving parts in modern medical cannabis, flower, cartridges, tinctures, concentrates, ingestibles, dosing etc, sometimes patients don’t know where to begin. That’s why we’re here and we’re incredibly thankful for you.
